Electrical Hazard Protection
The Cofra boots we offer meet European, Canadian and US standards for use in protecting the wearer from electrical hazards. Electrical Hazard (EH) footwear that meets ASTM F2413-05 is made with non-conductive soles and heels. It provides a secondary source of protection against inadvertent contact with live electrical circuits. The test applies 14,000 volts at 60 hertz for one minute, and allows no current flow or leakage current in excess of 3.0 milliamperes, under dry conditions. Cofra boots easily meet these requirements.
