Explosion Proof Lighting

The term 'Explosion Proof' as applied to the lighting fixtures that we offer can be something of a misnomer. We actually prefer 'Hazardous Location' lights as a better description. In both cases what we are referring to are lighting devices that have been tested by a reputable firm to meet the appropriate standards. In this case, we are talking about portable lights designed for safe use in hazardous locations and for a wide range of applications. The lights from Stewart R. Browne are UL or cUL and CSA listed for many areas identified as Class I & II, Division I & 2.
