Respirator Fit Testing
We stock a variety of respirator fit testing products. These are so-called qualitative devices, in that they depend on a response from the person wearing the mask. This differs from the 'quantitative' type that makes an independent measurement of the degree of fit. For most applications, the qualitative method is adequate, and is reasonably priced.
Among the most familiar is the irritant smoke type. Others include the Saccharin and Bitrex aspirators, as well as the banana oil(Iso Amyl Acetate). A brief explanation of each may be found with the corresponding product. |
