DBI/SALA Sealed Blok Self Retracting Lifeline - 30 ft.

The new Sealed-Blok self retracting lifeline from DBI/SALA is in response to customer requests for a 'Sealed' type SRL in a 30 foot length. Previously the shortest length was the 50 foot 3403400.

This new sealed design keeps the critical working components (brake, power spring, energy absorber) free of dirt, grease, water and chemicals. The cable is kept separate by means of a rubber ringed gasket. So as the cable picks up dirt and debris, the gears and other moving parts are kept clean and dry.

A built-in carrying handle makes carrying and anchoring the device safe and easy. It also provides a secondary attachment point for critical “dropped objects protection”. The large pivoting anchorage connector allows use of a wide variety of connecting hardware.

Like all DBI/SALA self retracting lifelines, the anti-ratcheting brake stops falls within inches and limits arresting forces to 900 lbs or less as required by OSHA and ANSI standards. The cast aluminum housing is light weight, while the heavy gauge steel end plates resist damage and provide corrosion resistance. A self-locking swivel hook with visual impact indicator makes connections easy, even with gloves on.

The new i-Safe Intelligent Safety System is built into every unit to track inspections, control inventory and manage information. This is an RFID chip that can (with the optional reader) can bring an integrated level of inventory control to all your DBI/SALA fall protection equipment.

The Sealed-Blok SRL meets or exceeds all applicable OSHA and ANSI requirements. This includes the hook, which meets the new 3600 lb gate test standard. For attaching the SRL to an anchorage point, we suggest the DBI/SALA 2000112 Carabiner. Weight 18 lbs.
