Shipping & Return Policy

PK Safety warehouses the majority of the items listed on this site. We package and ship via UPS or US Priority Mail, though we prefer UPS for the more robust tracking ability. Below are estimated delivery times for UPS Ground service.



UPS rates are calculated in real time based on your location and service option.

For US Priority Mail, rates are a close approximation of the USPS rate tables. Shipping to APO/FPO addresses has become a difficult thing with the increased regulation from the Post Office. We must hand deliver these to the Post Office. This may take extra time, and unfortunately the charges reflect this.

In either case, no handling or packing charges are added to the carriers rates.

Every effort will be made to ship your item(s) the same day your order is received, on orders placed M - F, before 3PM PST. Please allow approximately 1 to 7 business days to receive your order from your specified shipping carrier, depending on your location. Some items are not on our shelf, and have a lead time clearly stated. Additionally, some items may be drop shipped directly from the manufacturer.

While you may use any of the available shipping choices, it should be noted that if an item is not in stock or has a lead time associated with it, the delivery time noted during checkout is from the date of shipment. Choosing "Next Day Air" for instance, does not necessarily mean that the product will arrive the next day.

Shipping Delays - Occasionally UPS or the Post Office does not deliver packages in their stated service time window. Most often this is due to weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, or because they experienced technical difficulties. Unfortunately this is out of our control and we cannot reimburse you due to delays caused by our carriers.

Shipping to Canada - Buyer is responsible for any and all taxes, duties and brokerage fees on items shipped to Canada. These additional charges are not paid to PK Safety and will be collected by delivery service at time of delivery. Please note that we are unable to ship certain items such as gas detectors to Canada due to manufacturer and export restrictions.

Returns - The return of items in original as shipped condition will, in general, be accepted for credit. Please contact Customer Service to obtain a RGA (Return Goods Authorization) number. This will ensure that we are both aware that a return is coming, and that credit needs to be issued. Depending on the product, and the manufacturer's policies, there may be a re-stocking charge applied. These are in the range of 15-30%. Please note that we only charge a re-stocking fee when we are charged one ourselves. Please package returns appropriately, keeping record of tracking numbers. Insure the package if warranted, as we can only issue credit for returns we actually receive.

Refunds - Credit will be issued only to the Credit Card originally used to purchase the item. Customer will be charged for freight. Products cannot be returned after 30 days of purchase.

Damaged / Defective Products - Please contact Customer Service as soon as is practical. We are available Monday thru Friday, 8 - 5 PST. If the problem is damage in transit, please retain packaging, as UPS may want to examine. Arrangements for return or refund will be made based on the circumstances.
